The F1 Grand Prix of Canada is coming in at full speed and Moisson Montreal is pleased to announce that it will take part in this year’s festivities. Hence, thanks to a new partnership between the Grand Prix and Moisson Montréal, all F1 attendees are invited, on June 7, 8 and 9, to make a non perishable food or monetary donation at one of the site’s entrances or at Moisson Montréal’s kiosk.

The presence of Moisson Montreal at Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada represents a unique opportunity to share our mission and values, but also to demonstrate how the smallest donation can go a long way in making a difference in the lives of families. Per example, a $5 donation will enable Moisson Montréal to redistribute $85 worth of food, enough to give one child a “vacation from hunger” for 2 weeks! To illustrate this impact, our volunteers will give a Moisson beach ball to each person making a $5 or more donation over the week-end.

The partnership with F1 Grand Prix was born last winter when the Octane Racing Group Inc. came to volunteer in our warehouse. They witnessed the tremendous need for food aid in Montreal and decided they wanted to do their part to raise awareness on the issue. It is with great hope and enthusiasm that the two organizations join forces for the cause for a first common effort.
