What a wonderful day we had at Moisson Montreal’s 11th Golf Classic presented by Provigo, Maxi, Maxi & Cie, Loblaws, in collaboration with National Bank Financial Group! More than 300 participants responded to Moisson’s invitation to play, give and help on June 3, at Île Bizard’s St-Raphael Golf Club, for a day of fun held under the patronage Pierre Dandoy, Senior Vice President, Operations, Provigo and Loblaws Québec. Our traditional golf tournament was followed by a cocktail, music and dance performances, a three-course gourmet dinner and an exciting live auction. Canadiens player Francis Bouillon was there to auction off an autographed official jersey. Sports commentator Dany Dubé; Hall-of-Famer and Canadiens Ambassador Yvan Cournoyer as well and Commander Robert Piché were also among our guests.
This amazing day allowed Moisson Montréal to raise 294 172 $, an amount which will greatly contribute to the pursuit of our activities. Taking into account Moisson’s leverage effect, the event’s profits will enable us to provide healthy, nutritious food to 1,200 people for an entire year!
Moisson Montreal wishes to recognize the tremendous work of the organizing committee; the passion of the host, Nathalie Lambert; the enthusiasm of all participants and the commitment of all the volunteers, some of which return year after year to give us a helping hand. Many thanks also to all our service providers as well as to our precious partners and sponsors : Provigo and Loblaws Québec, National Bank Financial Groupe, Les Résidences Soleil / Groupe Savoie, Weston Bakeries, Naya, Lassonde, Labatt, PepsiCo Canada, Montréal Auto-Prix, Élixirs, Magenta Studio Photo, DuProprio, Astral, Yves Rocher, Casino de Montréal, Loto-Québec, Joey’s Limo, Honda de Saint-Jean and Formidée Communications.
