In order to keep increasing the quantity, quality and diversity of food distributed to partner organizations, Moisson Montreal constantly continues to expand its operations.

In the past few weeks, Moisson Montreal began a pilot project recovering meat from Loblaws stores. To date, there are four grocery stores participating in the project, but if everything keeps going well, the project could be expanded to more than 50 stores. Moisson Montreal gives food a second life as 99% of the food we distribute is recovered. The meat recovery program is perfectly aligned with this philosophy. Since October 15, we have recovered an unforeseen amount of meat, which will allow our partner organizations to provide more nutritious meals to their users.
