How to become accredited
Moisson Montréal considers the accreditation of organizations as a long-term partnership. We ask for different documents in order to get to know the organization better and to ensure that we are associated with an established organization that has a positive social impact.
Accredited organizations are responsible for picking up food from the Moisson Montréal warehouse..
Below are prerequisite criterions that must apply to your organization in order to be accredited by Moisson Montreal:

Be a non-lucrative organization (NPO);

Offer services to a clientele in need;

Be based on the Montreal island and offer it services to Montreal residents;

Be incorporated according to the «Québec Partie III» company law (have a charter or patent letters);

Possess a register number issued by Revenu Canada;

Work in concert with your neighbourhood’s community.
If you meet the above criteria, you can complete the Accreditation Application Form and submit an application to Community Relations, along with the following documents:

Copy of your letters patent

Copy attesting to your NEQ and, if applicable, your charitable registration number with Canada Revenue Agency

List of Board members, their contact details and professions

Board resolution proposing accreditation for your organization

By-Laws of the Organization

Most recent activity report
-
Most recent financial statements with breakdown of revenue sources

Letter of support from the Table de quartier in your area, a local round table on food security, a CIUSSS/CLSC, a community development corporation (CDC), the City of Montréal or the ‘borough.
Additionally, if your organization is a church or religious ministry, please complete the appropriate appendix. It is important to note that other criteria will be assessed following your application.
