Like the Formula 1, this event is known for its energy and sophistication and the anticipation is as high as a racing fan\u2019s for the arrival of the F1 weekend.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the cosmopolitan crowd, \u201cThe Grand Evening\u201d is considered as the most glamorous event of the summer season. Dany Michaud, Executive Director of Moisson Montr\u00e9al, urges you to quickly secure your tickets, if you haven&#8217;t already: \u201cThere are only a few tables left and everyone should know that attending this unique gala means an opportunity to meet some Formula 1 team principals and drivers who will be in the city. Also, by attending \u201cThe Grand Evening\u201d, participants will be supporting Moisson Montr\u00e9al and the Fondation de l&#8217;H\u00f4pital du Sacr\u00e9-Coeur. This gala dinner is doubly important for us, because it increases our visibility with donors and marks the official launch of our summer awareness campaign, which this year, focuses on food insecurity, as it\u2019s more difficult to find foodstuffs in this season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEveryone loves our Grand Prix; this includes fans, as well as the racers and the team principals, who have continued to participate these last six years. It has been the designated track hospital of the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA for several years now, and the members of its trauma team supply medical services for this great sporting event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>About Moisson Montr\u00e9al<\/strong><br \/>\nA non-profit organization founded in 1984, Moisson Montr\u00e9al is today the largest food bank in Canada. Through its centre for collecting, sorting and distributing emergency food assistance, the organization allocates nearly 1,000 tons of food per month to more than 240 accredited community organizations on the Island of Montreal. In turn, these organizations provide food assistance to 140,000 people, including more than 20,000 children between the ages of 0 and 5. Moisson Montr\u00e9al receives funding and supplies mainly through donations. Its operations require the collaboration of nearly 8,000 volunteers each year and result in the redistribution of about $75 million worth of groceries annually.
