Moisson Montréal is supported by a network of nearly 150 agri-food suppliers that aims at collecting perishable and non-perishable foodstuffs. The foodstuffs collected are mainly obtained from the food product surplus of suppliers, wholesalers, manufacturers, and farmers. Events and collection drives organized by companies also contribute to our supply.

Around 674,000 kilos of foodstuffs of all kinds are circulated every month through a 107,000-square-foot building.

Environmental Awareness
Through our mission, we are not only helping to support people with nourishment needs, but we are also reducing the amount of foodstuffs that would otherwise be destroyed. Furthermore, since 2002, most fruits and vegetables that are not suitable for consumption after having been sorted in the warehouse are sent to a farmer in Laval as part of the composting project.
