Combine buisness with pleasure and make a significant gesture by holding a fundraiser benefiting Moisson Montreal. It is an effective way to make a difference in the life and in the plate of 140 697 persons we help each month and get involved with a cause you believe is worth it.
To organize a fundraiser benefiting of Moisson Montréal is:
• 1. To take concrete action to ensure food supply to Montrealers in need.
• 2. To participate in development of sustainable solutions to the problem
• • of food insecurity.
• 3. To share values of mutual assistance and solidarity.
If you are interested in organizing a golf tournament, a bake sale, a spaghetti dinner or any other activity, it’s easy! Here are the steps:
1. Read the Guide d’organisation d’une collecte de fonds. (English version coming soon)
2. Read Moisson Montreal fact sheet that will provide useful information about the organization.
3. Fill the Formulaire de proposition de projet and send it to Moisson Montreal.

4. Once you receive approval from Moisson Montréal, you can start your project!
Support provided by Moisson Montreal
• A resource person to answer your questions and provide advice.
• A Moisson Montréal’s representative during your event if schedule allows it.
• Issue receipts for tax purposes for donations.
•Visibility on Moisson Montreal’s website after your event.
• A letter of certification, if required along the way.

In action for Moisson Montreal!
Living statues at the Eaton Centre!
Student Association SIFE of the university of Concordia has organized a "Freeze Mob" in the Eaton Centre as part of the campaign "Let's get hunger". This unique activity has raised 202 kg of food and money donations to Moisson Montreal. To view a video of this event, visit the following link.
A bowling tournament
Thank’s to the Action Democratique du Quebec (ADQ) for organizing a bowling tournament for Moisson Montreal! The event raised $510 to support the cause of food security.
A "technoel" party
A "technoel" party attended by over 200 people from the web industry, has replaced the price of admission with a donation to Moisson Montreal, which has raised $1,765. The organizer, Mr. Olivier Cabanes, waits for you at the 2011 edition!
Students of the “Technique d’intervention en loisir du Cégep de St-Laurent” have joined forces for Moisson Montreal
As part of their course on financing of non-for-profit organizations “ Financement des organismes ”, nearly 40 students have held three fundraising activities on behalf of Moisson Montreal. A total of $7,778 was raised through their collective efforts. Supported by their teacher, Marie-Josée Chicoine, they created a Mystery Evening, a Fundraising Dinner and a Movie Benefit show.
