Christmas food drive 2011
The Christmas food drive 2011, held from November 7 to December 9, 2011, aims to offer quality foodstuff to families in need for the Holiday season.
Objectives for Christmas 2011:
- 15 000 Christmas baskets, each containing 25 items;
- 35 000 Christmas meal
What to give?
Here's the grocery list of 25 food items that can be found in a Christmas basket. Each basket is enough to feed a family of 3 persons for approximately 2 weeks.

Donate Foodstuff
Whether with family or friends, we invite you to collect food that you can directly bring to Moisson Montreal’s warehouse, Monday to Thursday 8 am to 14 h 30 and Friday from 8 am to 10. Please note that we will be open Saturday, December 17th from 8am to 12pm to collect your donations. You can also donate online.
Organize a food drive at work
We invite companies that wish to organize a food drive or a fund raise among their employees to:
1 – Fill the project proposal form.
2 – Read the guide for a successful food drive.
3 - Collect foodstuff.
4 – Be able to deliver the food collected directly to Moisson Montreal’s warehouse at 6880, chemin de la Côte de Liesse, during the week of December 12 to 17, inclusively.
